Notes being played

Hi, I have been working through Camille's lessons. I'm only on day 3. I appreciate the intervals being shared with me. I would like to know if we can also see the notes played in the progressions? Camille goes through a few progressions.

I play guitar and cannot quickly translate the piano notes being play. Since I'm new to singing, my ears are not calibrated well enough to know the note being played. I'm asking for this information because it will allow me to target the notes - I'm using a tuner to help me hit the right note.

    Hi Michael,

At the moment, we don't have any written materials but we may add that in the future. What would you like to see if we add something like this in the future? Should it just be a download of sheet music? Or something else? We'd love to hear your ideas!

    Thank you for responding.

As I review my previous statement, and after giving it some more thought, it may help to see the notes associated with the first progression along with the interval pattern. For example, let's presume the warmup exercise intervals are 5-3-1-3-5-3-1-5. It would help to have guidance on which note we should initiate our first progression, the interval step for the progression, and the direction of the progression (going higher or lower and back). Maybe the instructor would want us to start at our most comfortable note, lowest note, or highest. A pdf would not be necessary if the information was included in the description.

Thank you for the feedback, Michael! Maybe we can update some of the descriptions in our future lessons with information like this. We'll definitely pass it along.

Hello everyone. This is a great point Michael I was about to ask the same thing.  But for those people who don't play any instruments. can you pre-register the localized pattern at least for a number of minutes. so that they can practice with the recorded audio without instruments.

    Hi Brunel,

What do you mean by "pre-register the localized pattern"?

I was just thinking this.  My current understanding is that this site is run by the same people at GuitarTricks.com, so I kind of expected something like the GuitarTricks.com PDFs.

I think that in a perfect world, the Camille song (There's a Fire Deep Inside) would have a "lead sheet PDF" with a little downloadable .mp3 of the song.  Then we could familiarize ourselves with the song without watching the video over and over (such as listening to the song in the car), and have the chord progressions, vocal melody notation, and lyrics so that we can mess around with it on musical instruments.

Hi Billy, I meant the pattern that for instance camille is playing on the piano. So people who don't play instruments can vocalize.

I see what you're saying Brunel and Kit! These are great ideas and we're definitely thinking of things like this to implement in the future. Thanks for the feedback, ya'll!
