Hi, I'm about to register for the trial. But I have a question, after 14 days, do I have the right to cancel my membership before the charge?

My 14 days free trial just ended, and it was possible to cancel the membership before the charge. It's just to press a button and then you are done. :)

    Thanks for your reply!

Can I ask about your experience with the free trial? Could you leave some feedback?

    Sure!

Videos: Firstly, we have the videos where an instructor goes through an exercise/concept for you to work on. The videos are, at least the ones I have watched, 5-15 minutes. They talk about what you should think about when doing the exercise, gives you some general tips, and invites you to do the exercise at the same time they do. I guess you should watch at most one new video a day. Another good thing about these videos is that they are "packed" together. For instance, there is a whole video-series with "Beginner Lessons", and if you watch them in chronologic order, you won't "miss" anything.

However, watching a video once is not really enough for a daily training but they give you something new to work on. Then you maybe want to keep practicing that exercise, singing or whatever you need to work on.

Live-lesson/checkins: They offer live lessons (which you have to pay for, quite good price though) and, if you are a paying subscriber, monthly checkins. The checkins are free and you are allowed to attend one each month. You talk with an instructor over Zoom (a live-chatting program) and that person can help you with your concerns and questions. They are 15 minutes, but I felt that I learnt a lot during these 15 minutes. I guess the live lessons are the same, just that they are longer (30 or 60 minutes).

Since you actually have access to the checkins during your trial period, I suggest that you try it and see for yourself what you think. Since then you know, if you choose to continue, what you can expect. And it can also be something that you may take in consideration when you decide if a subscription here is for you.

Forum: Maybe not too much to say here. But you can expect answers fast, and I've been really happy with the answers I've recieved so far. They have always felt well thought out. As a bonus, if you happen to get one of the instructors e-mail, then you can get super fast answers. :)

Camille's Free Live Lesson: Every Saturday, Camille has a live lesson where anyone is allowed to participate. She chooses a new topic for each Saturday and then discuss/goes through it for an hour. At the end of the live lesson everyone is allowed to ask questions. Here is a great opportunity to learn even more.

All in all, my experience here is really good, so I choose to continue to pay for this service. I think you should try it, and decide what you think about this. I have tried quite a few different online learning websites (for a lot of different topics), but here I can really see that the instructors loves what they are doing (in a way I haven't seen on any other websites, it feels like you are closer to the teachers on here). :)

    Hope this helps!

I want to add something. When you finish a checkin with an instructor, you get an email with what you did during your zoom-meeting and what you should be working on. You also get suggestions about, for instance, apps you can download to proceed.

I felt this was important to add, since it is both really helpful for your learning experience and it feels much more professional.

Thank you for answering and providing your feedback, Joel! Glad that you're enjoying the program and all the features you mentioned.

And Nhung, you will not be charged for your trial if you cancel before the 14 days are up.

Thank you so much Joel! I'm so impressed by your response! It really helps me.

Thank you two for answering my question!

Btw I didn't know you guys had replied to my discussion. Is there any way I can turn on notification for my discussion?

You're welcome, both of you. :) I'm glad you found it helpful, Nhung!

Unfortunately, I don't think there is such an option, Nhung. But I think it would be good if they added one.

All of our instruction is in English, José! (I'm using Duolingo to learn, but far from fluent!)
