Hello! I'm working through Jonathan Estabrooks' basic course.
I sometimes find it hard to come off a note or phrase without it being tense and abrupt, especially when it's a high note. (I'm a baritone and this issue is most pronounced for ending a phrase on a middle C or higher).
At the moment of coming off, it's as if I don't know how to let the air stop and the sound stop in a graceful way and can feel some tension in both the throat and pelvic floor.
Is there a likely cause for this, and do you have any tips or exercises that might be good?
Thank you!

Hi, William! Vibrato is a great way to end a note gracefully (and it's how most singers end phrases). Here's a 10-minute lesson on troubleshooting vibrato if you don't have consistent access to it yet: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uiS-_vj9r6U.
