Finding my range

Hi, I am a beginner singer. I do not have any knowledge of music and my ear is not great. I am currently trying to find my range, but my biggest problem is in knowing if I am really singing the note that's played on the piano... Any tips? How do I know if I sang a C#3 or a C3 etc. Thanks in advance

I suggest using a chromatic tuner! There are plenty of apps for this purpose, but I usually recommend the website tuner.ninja to start, since there's no download necessary. Best of luck!
