Singing in tune

So I am wondering if singing in tune is concoius or unconcoius. also how do I get closer to the note.

Great question! For some people who learn at a young age, it may feel so natural that it's almost unconscious. But there's always a degree of conscious effort involved! Use a chromatic tuner to visualize where you are in relation to the desired pitch, and try sliding up or down in pitch until you get closer. See below for a guided lesson series on matching pitch:
