    Hi Camille,

I feel like I'm losing range sadly. Now I know I'm supposed to practice all my registers.(Now pretty much I do that, except I don't do whistle voice bc I've heard it does nothing for you except style). Now right now, I only practice the registers pretty much specifically only in warm-ups, and otherwise, I touch upon it a little bit in practice. Is this enough or should I practice more for these registers? Also, how else can I expand my range. (I am practicing flageolot). Also, I did watch New York Vocal Coaching's video on expanding range.

The best tool I know for range extension is singing through a straw!

I encourage you to give yourself some grace, too. Our ranges can fluctuate over time. Fatigue, allergies, illness, hydration, etc all impact the flexibility of your voice!

Okay. And also, will it help if I practice more on each register?

Ideally you're covering each of the most-used vocal registers each day: chest voice, head voice/falsetto and mixed coordination. For high range extension, the more regularly you're letting your voice stretch up there, the better! Just watch out for tightening and/or vocal fatigue. Straw singing will help guard against both!
