    Hi Camille

I loved your lessons on classical singing. Such an achievable course for beginners too. Are you planning to produce a beginners 30 day singer programme for absolute beginners? Also, I have found a folk song that is sung in churches as well. What is the style called? It sounds 'semi-classical' - is there such a thing? Vibrato, clear voices but not opera as such. Would that just be singing a folk song in a choral style or is there an actual style name? The sound is also reminiscent of traditional pop songs from the 30s-40s era.

Thank you! A course for absolute beginners isn't currently in the works, but it's a great idea. In the meantime, I recommend these 2 series for absolutely beginners, as a prerequisite for my level 1 beginner course:

I think you hit the nail on the head! "Choral" covers the style I think you're describing: pure vowels, clear tone, vibrato at the ends of phrases & long sustains.
