     Hi Camille!

I am an alto but would like to strengthen my headvoice. I have just started doing the advanced warm-ups and am working on your course for expanding my range.

However, I have noticed that I give myself a headache between my eyebrows after practicing in my head voice! That is not a good sign! haha!

Is this a common occurence? Do you have any tips on releasing tension up there?

    Thank you!

Good question, Leah! Do you happen to know if you're furrowing your brow or frowning when you sing up there? If so, I'd encourage you to lift your brows gently (as a way to also help lift your soft palate) and think about letting your forehead "soften" and "spread".

Also - find the configuration that's easiest for you! For me (a fellow alto), high head voice is easiest singing on an NG.

    Good luck!
