    Hello Again,

i have problems singing high notes in my chest voice. For example when i try the Advanced lip trill slide, my voice is thin and not so powerful. And Jonathan has no Problems with it. So my Question is, wether its just training or if im doing something wrong.

    Thanks for a Reply :)

    Hi, Julius!

If it's a very high note in your range, it will need to be mixed voice. My guess is that Jonathan sounds strong on those high notes, but he's actually mixing, not using just chest voice.

Lip trills and MUM exercises are excellent ways to begin building your mixed coordination (even if it's weak or thin for now), because they both protect your voice and put your cords in an ideal position to maintain cord closure as you ascend - which is essentially what mixed voice is!

Keep up the good work, and eventually you'll build power in those high notes as well.
