Belting Warmup for Low Voice
By Abram PoliakoffThis belting tutorial with Abram takes you step by step through the process of building a strong, healthy belt that feels powerful but never forced. You’ll start by warming up with light mix exercises, then gradually add resonance, vowel shaping, and twang to unlock the energy and brightness needed for belting. Each lesson introduces targeted warm-ups—from scales on simple syllables like “goo” and “nay” to short lyrical phrases—that strengthen your vocal coordination and help you find a balance between chest and head voice. By the end of the series, you’ll understand how to safely expand your range, project with clarity, and belt with confidence across different styles of music.
